"Clouds I"

This is part of a new series that I am working on. Each painting in this series contains elements of sky, land and water. I wanted the challenge of painting a very simple composition and seeing where I could take it. In addition to the use of brushes and palette knives, glazes have been an integral part of this series. The reference I used is Chatham Harbor overlooking the outer beach. It is 24" x 24". I plan on posting more from this new series over the next few weeks. This painting is SOLD.
