Shimmer
This painting has so many layers of paint on it. To get the atmospheric quality, I painted both with brushes and palette knives and scraped and sanded over and over. At the end I applied many layers of glaze to get a really rich and Turner-like light. This painting has SOLD.

Red Sky
This painting is 20" x 20" and has been SOLD . This was inspired by an evening last summer where the sky truly seemed unbelievable. One of those moments where you feel you are witnessing something extra special.
